Each bedroom offers complete privacy with breath-taking views of the Himalayas,
forests and the valley. UPVC windows, oil filled radiators keep you warm in winters
and the extra comfortable mattresses ensure a restful sleep. The cottage features
natural wooden beams, high ceilings and tasteful furnishings.
Planning the perfect getaway
Majkhali is good for a visit all-round the year. October to March is the best time to soak in the views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks and pristine clear skies. Winters are typically cold with temperatures down to -2 degrees Celsius and sometimes it can snow too. However, enjoying a musical BBQ by the bonfire under a clear sky and glittering valley view will make you forget the chills.
The Monsoon has its own charm when the season paints the valley and the forests a lush green, and the smell of fresh wet earth dominates the air, making it a delight to spend time here. Summer, of course, is a great time to escape the harsh heat and sultry climate of the cities. Be sure to book well in advance to avoid last minute rush and disappointment.
Altitude 6000 has 3 bedrooms with king size beds. All bedrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and north facing with large glass windows providing the guests with a Himalaya, mountain and valley view.
Indulge, escape & relax in the mountains
All bedrooms have sufficient lighting, blankets, linen, sofas, fans, oil filled radiator for winters, attached bathrooms with shower, buckets, geysers, hair drier, designer touch mirror lighting and toiletries to make your stay comfortable. Luggage rack and cupboards with hangers are provided in all rooms. A number lock safe and study table is provided additionally in the master bedroom. Extra folding floor mattresses can be arranged to comfortably accommodate 2 additional adults. Accommodation for drivers can be arranged at nearby dormitories at additional cost. There is no TV in the bedrooms as we want you to enjoy the beauty of the valley and mountain/Himalaya view.
Wood fired fireplace is provided in the living room.
Amenities Provided
Complimentary Breakfast for 6 guests is included in the booking and consists of
juice, 2 eggs of your choice, milk, cornflakes, bread/butter/toast, tea and coffee. Alternately you can opt for stuffed parathas (potato, raddish, gobi) with curd, puri bhaji, poha, upma. The breakfast can also be laid in the open area.
You are free to use the kitchen, cook/helper to do all the cooking for you. All groceries and vegetables can be procured locally and paid for.
Home cooked food can also be ordered over phone through Awadh@29 Latitude (8127333006/708812653). Menu is provided for use by guests. Please give advance notice.
A few other restaurants are available nearby should you wish to dine out.
BBQ can be arranged at additional cost of Rs: 800/-. All meats etc to be purchased by the guests.
Bonfire can be arranged during winter months from October until end March incurring additional cost of Rs. 700/-.

Our house helps are available from 08:00 hrs until 15:00 hrs and then from 17:00 hrs
